other blog connect-disconnect

I can't help but wonder what kind of frenzy I created by naming my blog site Bob2blogsBurr. There  no doubt is a great clamoring, a buzz if you will, "2blogs? What could the other blog be?" Point well taken and please allow me to quiet the unrest. Blog 1 deals with musings, a little whimsy or serendipity if you will, just stating my viewpoint on whatever grabs my fancy at any time on any day. I may feel inclined to revisit some past postings , especially the pre-blog ones, to help further clarify the issue that so demanded my attention at that moment, also it seems that my writing style (regarding paragraphing) has drawn some attention, let's deal with that right
here, and if some are curious as to my enumerating certain rules of life that I espouse, well they're still rules, they're still out there waiting to be exposed and hopefully their day will come. Anyway, that's blog the first, light, airy and I can only trust that when writing it all my meanderings lead to an understandable point. Blog 2 however will tend to be something a little different, uh oh, I can feel the hesitation in the air, please,  please relax, all I'm saying is that this blog will have a different feel to it, dealing with things more political or other issues that seem to command the attention of the larger media and then drive the American populace to the edge of madness.  There are countless issues that keep popping up, that aren't really political, but somehow by the time sanity sets in, the country has been driven to an uproar. Some things need to be settled in Congress and some things don't, and I always feel confident that our well compensated, and well cared for agents of the people will step in the right direction, sort out the chaff and harvest the good and necessary values that propel
America forward. All right now that we're all on the same page let's try to touch on the actual purpose of
the title of this, the other blog. Its been mentioned to me from time to time that I don't always verbalize
in a way that elicits understanding to those to whom I'm speaking- a co-worker once characterized me as "thinking outside the box"- maybe so, but who built the box to tell any of us where to think? Anyway, have you ever noticed that there seems to be a grammatical movement to make words that are nouns verbs and adjectives nouns and so forth?  Well I'm making connect a noun, disconnect is already being used as a noun so why not connect, here we go, I know, I know, we already have connection covering this, but if talking heads can say "There seems to be a certain disconnect here", I say "does anybody see the connect here?" I understand that this would seem superfluous, but if certain ideas can have a disconnect, my goal is to maybe show a connect. You may have to pay close attention here, things might get murky-I, as a native born American, have always regarded the U.S Constitution as somewhat remarkable, haven't really thought about it much, knew it was there, knew it gave me certain rights that most people of the world don't even consider and from watching Law and Order knew about search warrants and some writs about whatevers and of course probable cause, all that being said , the point is ITS THE CONSTITUTION, THE WHOLE THING NOT JUST PARTS OF IT. Now by accepting it in its entirety, this sets forth all sorts of pandemonium from some that parade around about the first or second amendments etc.(No one worries about the third anymore). Again its not about one part, its about the whole, but let's look at #2 (I see the steam rising already). This country was formed by a revolt, then a little trial and error, finally led to the U.S.A. based on a piece of paper that's held up pretty well, I'm sure no one needs a history lesson so I won't try, but in those times the fear of incoming enemies was still vibrant and having an armed populace seemed a necessary precaution, set America apart from the rest of the world, still does. Personally, I don't hunt, or target shoot or any of that, however; in America those that choose these, may. Why? Second amendment that's why, its in there so I have have no problem. Okay got all this? Now comes the connect thing-the amendment says first that in order to provide a well armed militia the citizens have the right to bear arms, fair enough, many people feel that it is their duty to comply and bear several, seemingly safer if all could be borne at once. Remember the part about the whole Constitution, well Article 2 says that the executive of the nation, President if you will, also bears the title of commander-in-chief of armed forces including the militias of the states, if  called, my question then is this-doesn't this make the President the commander of all who bear arms, for they are armed in order to fill the aforementioned militias? See it calls for a certain connect, that may when all is said and done be outside the box.   Just one more minor point  about what is in or not in our Constitution, three time in the 1790's congress passed laws that forced people to buy or own certain items, one of which was health insurance for sailors, I know, I know it sounds unreal, but two bills signed by big George himself and one by Adams, both recognized framers and founding fathers, so this noise about it never being done before seems moot. (I saw it on Current TV's Elliot Spitzer show, he had some fancy Ivy League professor on explaining the history of it and he admitted he didn't find them but they are there). Funny isn't it that our leaders battle on about  OUR benefits from the government while THEY receive the best healthcare out there (did any of you vote on their plan?) . Now if you really want to hype-up your blood pressure, check out the Congressional pension plan, really top shelf, nothing but the best for them because after all they always do what's best for us. Okay now you've seen 'the other blog' and what it denotes, so maybe next time it shows up you'll be armed and ready .
