Life rolls...basketballs bounce

Here we are, nothing better to do than read what some unpublished, and shall I say unrepentant, naysayer offers as his view of life. But I say this, there are questions to be asked, answers to be sidestepped and loopholes to explored, so who better? Everyone is qualified to pontificate, (we're going to ignore Rome on this)  I've already discussed this, no need to revisit. What to offer up then? hmmm....well it seems that as I have navigated my way through this life there are certain things that made me stop,  pause, ponder and either ignore as too much trouble, or of no discernible value to me,  then hopefully move on.  Now all the things that are ignored  aren't necessarily left behind, they attach and sometimes enrich unintentionally or may become parasitic   and cause all kinds of trouble later. That's not where we're going here, maybe another time, my direction is towards something in my life that I never attained and I'm making up for it here. Lots of people I know and read about seem to have letters behind their names, you know L.L.D.'s and M.D.'s and B.A.'s, M.A."and P.C. and, well you get the idea, I have none...not anymore. Here"s the deal, today right now, I am officially bestowing on me the title of Ward, and not just any Ward, but Ward of Highest Attainable Title Based Upon Living Life. Now being a Ward doesn't just happen, you earn it and since I'm the one doing the bestowing I'm the one who designates who's a Ward and who's not so no calling dibs or anything. What's that? Do I hear headscratching  and are those looks of befuddlement I see? Oh unsure of the actual meaning of Ward and no doubt yearning for a clear understanding of this achievement, very well. A Ward is not an award, oh no no no, but one can be awarded a Ward, like me.  Let me explain, A Wardism is simply stating something that just seems so obvious to all who hear except the person to whom you are directly speaking. Clear? Now this is all based on the wise offerings of perhaps the most famous Ward of all time, that's right the unforgettable Ward Cleaver. How many times  did old Ward have the right answer, based often on his own childhood, when poor June seemed to be at a loss in understanding whatever Wally and the Beaver were up to. "You know June when I was a boy..." and so on. You'd watch the show, Ward would speak, June would have this look of baffled amazement followed by an understanding nod...You watch, you think "well duh" and then the music would play and all was right for another week...That's what I'm calling a Ward, and since most of what gets written here is pretty obvious it seems apropos . Maybe another time we'll talk about Juneism, but for now here it is ....Robert A. Burr.. W.H.A.T. B.U.L.L.
